 Gwinnett County Sheriff’s deputies and U. S. Marshals arrested a man Wednesday night wanted out of New Orleans for attempted murder.

Information was developed that Latrell Coleman, 18, of Harvey, Louisiana was staying at a family member’s residence on Beaver Springs Lane in Norcross and was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department for attempted 2nd degree murder.  He was accused of shooting a man in the head on November 1 on Bourbon Street. The man who was shot survived.

 When deputies and U.S. Marshals arrived at the Norcross residence Wednesday, they found Mr. Coleman hiding upstairs in a bedroom. He was arrested without incident and was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail where he is awaiting extradition back to New Orleans to face charges.
