Deputies assigned to the Investigative Services Division conducted an investigation that led to the unraveling of an inmate’s murder for hire plot.
Jeffrey Van Ngo was served with additional arrest warrants today at the Gwinnett County Jail after he attempted to hire an undercover deputy to murder Cuong Nguyen.
Ngo has been held at the Gwinnett County Jail since March 19 on charges (VCGSA – Possession of Controlled Substance and VCGSA – Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance). He has been additionally charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony Crime and Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony Crime.
The warrants were served without incident at the Gwinnett County Jail.
