For immediate release:
Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested Brandon Kaile Duncan on an outstanding warrant for Cruelty to Animals.
Duncan’s arrest stems from an incident on 03-21-14 in which Snellville Police officers were dispatched to an animal welfare call on Parkside Court in Snellville and discovered an emaciated dog with electrical tape tightly wound around its mouth. The dog’s mouth was extremely swollen and bleeding.
Gwinnett County Animal Control took custody of the injured dog and warrants were obtained by Snellville Police for the arrest of Antonio Furlow, the dog’s owner and his roommate, Brandon Kaile Duncan.
Antonio Furlow, already incarcerated at the Gwinnett County Jail, was served with a warrant for Cruelty to Animals at the jail on 3/27/14. A warrant was obtained for Brandon Kaile Duncan, which was served by Gwinnett County Sheriff’s deputies yesterday.
Furlow was released on bond on 4/10/14. Duncan remains in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
