The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Gwinnett Felony Probation and numerous city police agencies, conducted a two day warrant sweep that resulted in the arrest of 59 wanted persons and the service of 77 warrants.
On June 11th and 12th, approximately 104 law enforcement officers from Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, Gwinnett Felony Probation and Duluth, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Loganville, Norcross, Snellville and Suwanee Police Departments joined forces to serve warrants in Gwinnett County.
This warrant sweep was truly a joint venture. The risk factors associated with warrant service require the participation of many law enforcement officers to promote the safety of everyone involved. We appreciate the support of our local agencies and always welcome opportunities to work together to serve the citizens of Gwinnett County.
The warrant sweep focused activity in the cities of Auburn, Buford, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Loganville, Norcross, Snellville and Suwanee.
