For Immediate Release:
Two people were arrested in separate incidents at the Gwinnett County Jail over the weekend while they were visiting inmates.
Gwinnett Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman on Saturday afternoon after she was observed by a deputy partially unclothed and exposing her private parts to an inmate in a visitation booth. Donna Sue Harber of Lawrenceville was pulled from the visitation booth and charged with public indecency.
In a separate incident, deputies arrested Kinnith Ray Devrick of Suwanee on four outstanding felony warrants. Deputies doing a routine check of the visitation list discovered that he had outstanding Gwinnett warrants for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, theft by receiving, criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was placed under arrest in the visitation booth. During a search, deputies found eight pills in his possession that field tested positive for ecstasy. Additional warrants were obtained for crossing a guard line with drugs and for Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act Schedule I.
Ms. Harber posted bond and was released from jail. Mr. Devrick is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
