Gwinnett Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man wanted for armed robbery following a brief foot chase at a Buford apartment complex Wednesday.
Jeremy Oakley Biddle of Suwanee was wanted for an armed robbery that occurred on July 16 on Sugarloaf Parkway where he robbed a man of more than $500 at gunpoint. He is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Sheriff’s deputies with the Fugitive Unit received a tip that Mr. Biddle was staying with friends at the Preston Hills at Mill Creek Apartments in Buford. Deputies watching the apartment observed Mr. Biddle get out of a car and enter the apartment door. They demanded that Mr. Biddle come out with his hands in the air, but he jumped from a bedroom window and tried to flee. He was apprehended after a brief foot chase.
Deputies additionally charged him with obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Mr. Biddle is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
