A Big Thank You
The Bert Show believes that every soldier deployed outside the US deserves to receive a letter of gratitude on Thanksgiving Day. Help them give our troops a “big thank you” with a little taste of home this Thanksgiving by dropping a letter in our drop box by October 25, 2015 . Each letter should be heartfelt, handwritten (8.5”x11” paper or smaller) and free of any political statements. Please do not use glue, tape, staples, cardboard, glitter or attach anything to the paper. You can decorate using crayons, markers, pens or pencils, but no construction paper. Please do not send greeting cards or photographs. Feel free to include your mailing or email address – some military members will write back. Individual letters should not be sealed in envelops. Please don’t send anything other than a letter – no donation of any kind.
You can drop off your letter in the donation box at the front desk in the jail lobby. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
